If you wish to tint the glass, add only a slight amount of saturation. Note that basic color theory states that lighter shades of color are “warmer”, and darker shades are “cooler”. Darker shades may be saturated slightly more.
Since the highlights now look washed out, you may need to either tint the highlights green or set the blending mode to Plus Lighter and turning down the opacity to ~30%.
